The Bodies Left Behind - Jeffery Deaver deavers writing style takes a bit of getting used to but I really liked this and would read more.
Breaking Silence - Linda Castillo As good as book 1, better than book 2. There was one incident in the middle of the book that bothered me (something that could have been caught by an editor but apparently wasn't) -- heroine downs three shots, feels drunk, flirting wiht another cop, then takes off and is in a warehouse chasing a suspect...there was no indication of how much time had passed. It's a small thing but annoyed me.
I'm no prude (LOL) but I hope Kate gets a handle on her drinking...it's annoying more than anything.
Sworn to Silence - Linda Castillo Fucking awesome. If I cant figure out who did it u know its good. :-)
Immoral - Brian Freeman if i cant figure out the mystery its an automatic five stars lol. plus it was very well written :-)
With a Vengeance - Eileen Dreyer it was okay ...but just okay but
Heart of Evil - Heather Graham i made it about five pages but didn't like the writing style
Unforsaken - Sophie Littlefield Didn't enjoy this one near as much as BANISHED...it kind of felt like a lot of the storyline was forced but I loved the idea behind all of it and wish tehre were more books in the series.
Under the Never Sky - Veronica Rossi good but not great. almost meh but much better after pg 100
Birthmarked (Birthmarked Trilogy (Quality)) - Caragh M. O'Brien I freaking loved this book! Off to order book 2!!
You Belong to Me (Romantic Suspense #12) - Karen Rose The auto-romance lost this book a star. I really liked it overall, but my earlier comment about the romance happening so fast and the skippy hoppy storyline were not endearing.
Divergent - Veronica Roth I freaking loved this book!!!
Acts of Mercy - Mariah Stewart A little too 'coincidental' but I loved it and wished she's continue the series.
Next of Kin (Rebel Ridge Novels) - Sharon Sala Two stars is generous. I'll give her another try based on reviews I've read, but this was just so poorly written I made it about a third of the way through and had to give up.
Unspeakable - Laura Griffin Hmmm just like in Untraceable, the writing itself was good, and this one seemed tighter BUT the heroine wins the award for the most TSTL Fiction FBI Agent EVER.

I don't even know where to begin (and I guess I"ve seen too much Criminal Minds) ...things that were implied should have been said and vice versa, when a serial killer calls your hotel room, don't roll over and go to sleep, get the call traced, when a woman tells you a cop in San Marcos has a lead for you and you're IN San Marcos, stop and call him before you leave town--REALLY?? ARE YOU FREAKING KIDDING ME?!?!? REALLY???? There were more but you get the picture.

On a scale of 1 - 5 for me not guessing who the murderer was and the ingenious use of geocaching, I give a 5. For another slightly scattered story and FBI agents who didn't really feel like FBI agents as well as the aforementioned TSTL heroine, I give a 1.
Untraceable - Laura Griffin The writing was good and the book was fairly fast paced but the story just felt...scattered (for lack of a better word) or maybe not as focused as it could have been -- it definitely could have been tightened up a lot -- and the author seemed to spend a lot of time trying to convince us the hero was a cop. I dunno...she's a good writer but I'm not a romantic suspense fan and I guess on many levels this just didn't work for me.
And She Was - Alison Gaylin First Gaylin book and I really enjoyed this. If you're looking for a good solid suspense, I highly recommend but be warned there's not much in teh way of romance. Some but not much. I personally prefer little to no romance with my suspense tho so it worked for me!
